FEATURING JUDY AYRES

Wedding Dance Co-ordinator, Choreographer, Ballroom Dancer, Teacher

Judy is the owner of Just Dance and along with her partners she performs and teaches all over the New York Metropolitan area, Westchester County, and New Jersey.

 

Judy attended the Juilliard school and Manhattan School of Music. She studied ballroom with Peter Eggleton and Irene Donaghey and Latin with Robert Ritchie and John Nyemchek. She holds a Licentiate in both Standard Ballroom and Latin from the I.S.T.D. in England where she worked with Elizabeth Romain.

 

As resident teaching artists in the Greenburgh Dist.7 school system Judy and her partners teach ballroom to first grade, fifth and sixth grade, and middle school. In the Riverdale Community Center they teach beginning and advanced ballroom classes to adults.

 

Judy has sung and danced in several off-Broadway musical productions and appeared in the Disney movie Enchanted. She also choreographs and directs theatre productions in Westchester county (where she was a recipient of an Arts Alive Grant), co-ordinates the Golden Harvest Talent show and works with senior groups
